I love to roller skate and have done it as long as I can recall. I “jam-skated” in my early teens (with Zotay and Merkill) and would wear my skates around the house, which is something I still do to this day! I am also an equestrian. I have rode and shown horses my whole life and while I no longer show, I still go to the barn every-other day to groom and tend to the old mare and three mini horses that my mom has thankfully worked so hard for us to enjoy together! Lastly, for anyone who knows my personality, you KNOW I was a cheerleader in High School as well… and we competed and did amazing! I was a “base” and got walked and climbed all over but loved every minute of it!

Worst Derby Injury
REALLY, REALLY, REALLY ugly bruises, a fat lip, a sprained ankle, and a HUGE hemotoma on my right hip from my very first bout with the 8’s, which I named Henrietta cause she hung around for a long time! So, nothing really! I’m very lucky!!
Proudest Derby Moment
Being drafted to the Crazy Eights was a day I will never forget – and it’s captured on video so I can cherish it forever, winning the BCB championship trophy four years in a row and going undefeated in 2014 (Magic, Magic, Ninja, What!), bringing home the B-Cup trophy from Indy AND beating Madison’s Team Unicorn with the Battlestars in 2012, being invited to skate with the All-Star team during my rookie season and making the All-Star charter each year since, but mostly – building life-long friendships with amazing individuals and finding strength within myself I never even knew existed.
