There is no Safe Word!
I was in almost every sport available in high school, looking for the right ones: track, cross country, basketball, cheerleading, poms, and even softball one year. In college I was on the dance team for 2 years. And now I’m going into my third season playing this amazing sport!

Worst Derby Injury
Until this past season, my worst injury was a fall that did something to my hip. With that injury, I had to stay off skates for a few weeks and went into physical therapy. Last year I sprained my ankle. While it isn’t a bad injury compared to what many others have had to recover from, it’s pervasive. I finally started physical therapy to help my recovery as this season was beginning and my ankle is much stronger now, but I will have to continue to work to keep it strong or I will suffer the same injury over and over again.
Proudest Derby Moment
My first MVP Blocker award for interleague game play. Every one is an amazing gift, but I’m always working on becoming a better, more competitive player. To have another team award you with an MVP award means you’re giving them a hard time. To me, that’s a direct correlation that the hard work I’m putting is is making a difference.
