I started swimming competitively at the ripe old age of four. I dabbled in soccer up until high school, but continued to swim all the way through college, qualifying for the NCAA Division III National Championship. After two years away from competitive sports, I volunteered for my first Brewcity Bruisers bout and was completely hooked. The next two bouts I NSO’ed, and came back for the following two seasons as a referee. As much as I loved my zebra crew, I couldn’t suppress the itch to hit, so I tried out in 2013.
